Barind Medical College
Established 2011. Located at Rajshahi, the educational city of Bangladesh 252 km north-west of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, Travel time from Dhaka by Air- 35 minutes Road- 4 hours 30 minutes Rail- 5 hours 30 minutes Total Campus is 3 acres (approx.) with Academic & Hospital floor space 1,70,000 sq.ft. (approx.).
Course offered : MBBS Course duration is 5 years in four phase and compulsory one year Internship. Diploma in Nursing Sciences & Midwifery course, Course duration 3 years. Approved by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh Affiliated by Rajshahi University Accredited by Bangladesh Modical & Dental Council (BM&DC) Enlisted in World Directory of Medical School, World Federation for Medical Education (WPME) & Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), formerly by World Health Organization. No. of students enrolled in each year:100 (hundred) Total number of students: 444 including 87 (Eighty seven) foreign students. Total Numbers of Facu’ty members: 90, among them Professors 27, Associate Professor 14 and Assistant Professor 12, Lecturer 37. Teacher Student ratio is 1:5 Barind Medical College publishes a journal biannually named Barind Medical College Journal (BMCJ).
Documents to be submitted by the candidate
1. Certificate of S.S.C. & H.S.C Examination or its equivalent.
2. Testimonial of passing H.S.C. Examination from the Principal of the College from which he/she passed the H.S.C. Examination.
3. Mark Sheets of S.S.C. and H.S.C. Examinations.
4. Certificate from the head of the institution in which the applicant studied last regarding her/his character, career and extra curricular activities.
5. Character certificate from a class 1 Gazetted Officer.
6. Nationality certificate from UP Chairman/Ward Commissioner.
7. 3 (Three) copies of recent passport size and 1(one) stamp size photographs.
8. Acknowledgement slip showing the payment of registration fees for application of admission in first year MBBS class.
9. Original copies of the above documents are to be produced at the time of admission.
10. List of selected candidates will be notified in the Notice Board from time to time.
